Traffic along Princeton Road has increased with the community’s growth so the project will result in consistent lane widths and added shoulders the entire stretch from Cincinnati-Dayton to Butler Warren Road. “The Princeton Road project is important for Liberty Township as it represents a significant safety project for the community. There will also be some profile grade adjustments to improve sight distance, and due to the added pavement width, existing culverts and driveways will require extensions of structure and re-grading. Left turn lanes will be installed at Winter Hazel Drive and Cambridge Trail. Improvements include widening the travel lanes to 12 feet in each direction and adding 2-foot paved shoulders. The project involves a distance of approximately 1.44 miles from Cincinnati Dayton Road to Butler Warren Road. Butler County Engineer Greg Wilkens reports that improvements to Princeton Road in Liberty Township are scheduled to begin April 22.
